About
A big event costs thousands. Flights, entry fees, hotels, months of training. You suffer through it, finish it, and come home proud. Then the question hits — what do you actually have to show for it? A finisher photo on your phone. Maybe a patch. This is the gap Type II was built to fill. Something physical. Something that tells the story. Something you can hand to a friend who was there and say — this is what we did.
It Started With a Ride
In Iceland, I rode The Rift — 200 kilometers across volcanic gravel, wind, and long stretches where quitting would have been easier.
When it was over, I got a finishers prize. The effort meant more than that.
I wanted something that reflected the terrain, the distance, and the weight of the day. Something physical. Something permanent.
That’s where Type II Studio began.
Built From Real Effort
Every artifact starts with real GPS data.
Real elevation. Real terrain. Real work.
I design and produce each piece in house, turning route files into precise 3D topographic prints that follow your exact path.
Before anything is printed, you see a proof.
Nothing is made until it’s right.
Why It Exists
Most of our hardest efforts live inside apps.
Type II Studio exists to take those efforts off a screen and turn them into something you can hold, hang, and keep.
Not decoration.
Not memorabilia.
A record of what you did.
