High altitude. Rough roads. No shortcuts.

The Lost & Found Gravel Festival is one of the most respected gravel events in North America. Set in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Portola, the course combines elevation, exposure, and remote terrain into a day that demands preparation and patience.

Fast sections turn into loose gravel. Climbs stack up quietly. The altitude adds a layer you cannot train for at sea level.

This Artifact captures the official race routes in sculpted terrain and precision detail — preserving the full experience in physical form.

At the center is a 3D printed topographic terrain model of the course, with your selected route traced across the landscape.

Route Options

Choose your distance:

  • 99 Mile (The Long Route)
The full experience. High elevation, extended gravel sectors, and a true endurance test.
  • 58 Mile (The Mid Route)
A balanced challenge with key sections of the course while keeping the effort contained.
  • 40 Mile (The Short Route)
A fast, punchy introduction to the terrain with plenty of character packed into a shorter distance.

Each variant uses the official event course for that distance.

Why It Matters

Lost & Found is not about speed alone.

It is about managing effort over distance. Adapting to changing terrain. Staying composed when the course pushes back.

The kind of ride where finishing feels earned.

This piece exists so the experience does not fade into memory.

Type II.
