About the course
The Tokyo course is fast, flat, and famously well-supported — a marathon known for personal bests and for the way the city shows up along every kilometre. The route runs from the start in Shinjuku past the Imperial Palace, out toward Asakusa and the Senso-ji turnaround, back through Ginza, and into the finish at Tokyo Station's Marunouchi side.
Every Artifact for this race is built from the official 2026 course data. The route is fixed. What you customize is everything around it.

Artifact 12×16 — $179 Standard frame with integrated medal holder. The course and the Tokyo finisher medal as a single piece.

The route is fixed to the official course. Everything else is yours:

All designs are sent for approval before production begins.
Why it matters
You don't run Tokyo by accident.
You enter a lottery, or you qualify, or you fundraise — and then you train through a North American or European winter for a race on the other side of the world. You travel. You time-zone. You stand at a Shinjuku start line in March knowing exactly how long the road to that moment was.
For some runners, it's the first World Marathon Major. For others, it's the fifth or sixth — the star that completes the set. Either way, Tokyo isn't a race you get to repeat casually. It deserves more than a medal in a drawer.

FAQ
Do I need to upload anything? No. The course is the official Tokyo Marathon 2026 route — we already have it. Add your runner name, finish time, and any stats you want included at checkout, and we'll handle the rest.
Can I add a medal and bib? The 12×16 includes a medal mount. The 13×30 includes both a medal mount and a race-bib mount. The 20×20 features a deepset frame designed to recess and showcase the WMM medal as the centrepiece — sized specifically with major-medal dimensions in mind.

How long until I receive it? Typically 2–3 weeks from design approval for the 8.5×11, 12×16, and 13×30. Allow 3–4 weeks for the 20×20 deepset format.
